Step 1: Marbling on Ceramic - Symbolism: We are the sum of our experiences.
Witness beauty in unpredictability as your team each creates a one of a kind marbled tile. The blank tile represents us. The water; life's experiences. The swirling ink represents our unique emotional journey, unfiltered, flowing, free. It signifies our individuality.
Step 2: Ceramic Smash - Symbolism: Letting go and acceptance.
Break the tile. With one concentrated smash of a hammer, you'll break this beautiful marbled creation. A symbolic act of emotional release. Do not be afraid to shatter, begin again or let go.
Step 3: Kintsugi Repair - Symbolism: We are never beyond repair.
Using the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi, we lovingly restore the broken tile with gold resin. Just like us it returns, stronger and even more unique. It's a reminder to stay optimistic when things fall apart and to celebrate the flaws and missteps of life. The gold represents the qualities that help us heal and grow.
